tips to improve your morning routine
hello girls!
today i decided to write this article, with the intention to help you and make your morning better, in order to make it more pleasant.
1. avoid making decisions
for relaxing mornings, reduce the number of choices and decisions you make to zero.
make your morning decisions the night before: what clothes to wear, what to eat for breakfast, what route to take to work or school, and so on.
routinize your morning as much as possible. really, there’s no need to vary your routine from one morning to the next.
2. blinds and curtains
go to sleep with your blinds or curtains halfway open. so the natural light of the rising sun sends signals to your brain that it’s time to wake up. when the alarm goes off, you’ll already be half awake.
3. alarm
set your alarm 10 minutes earlier. this way, you don’t have to jump out of bed and rush through your morning. you can begin your morning by lying in bed, listening to music or reading a chapter of a book. these few minutes in bed are all yours.
4. get out of bed in a leisurely manner
instead of hopping right out of bed, gradually work yourself into getting out of your comfy bed to start a good day.
5. exercise or stretch
a great trick to eliminate some early morning grogginess if you don’t have time to exercise is to spend some time stretching soon after you wake up. it gets blood flowing to your arms and legs, and can help you feel energized as you’re starting the day.
6. eat breakfast
remember the phrase “breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” a fairly obvious tip, but easy to overlook when you’re busy. a healthy and nutrient-rich breakfast provides the energy and nutrients you need to get through the day.
7. take a shower
let yourself take a short and warm shower either before or after breakfast. a shower can refresh and rejuvenate you after a night of sleeping.
8. apply care products
lotion or other skincare items can keep your skin soft and smelling nicely throughout the day.
9. get dressed
if you’ve set out your clothes the night before, you will save time and can minimize the risk that you are late because you don’t know what to wear.
10. put on makeup
there is no right way to wear makeup. everyone has the right to wear as much or as little makeup as they want.
